  • Overview

    BRTRC Federal Solutions is a government contractor offering management and technical advisory services in program management, technology solutions, communications, acquisition strategy, as well as other specialties to our Department of Defense and commercial customers.  Work involves a variety of duties in a professional environment supporting outreach and strategic communication services for government programs and initiatives. Positions require excellent customer service skills and working closely with government clients.


    Responsibilities may include:

    • Collaborate with government clients and team members to gather and understand the needs of technical documentation to achieve communication objectives
    • Support the standardization of content across Program platforms and media
    • Develop  technical and non-technical content for Program external  communications such as newsletters, success brochures, videos, briefings, memorandums, and corporate reports
    • Coordinate with and interview Program participants to collect technology development and success information
    • Synthesize research and explain scientific and technical ideas in simple language that resonates with specific target audiences
    • Assist with performing quality reviews on Program content on various media types
    • Assist with obtaining approval through proper government review offices
    • Organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals



    • Ability to work well under tight deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and respond to changing deadlines and priorities
    • Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner and working with scientific staff to ensure accuracy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Minimum of 3 years  of technical writing or marketing experience to include performing research, conducting interviews, writing, editing, and obtaining public release approval
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications/marketing  field
    • Must have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD security clearance; current clearance preferred
    • Air Force background a plus
