    BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for a C-RAM Engineer II position. Plans, directs, and coordinates architecture and engineering support for C-RAM satellite and system support equipment. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama, and is contingent on contract award.

    Responsibilities

    Provides SME services to maintain Certificate of Networthiness (CON), Authority To Operate (ATO), Cybersecurity protocols, Software Testing and other Software Certification criteria to maintain certification and authorization of the COLTS database and Program Management Automated Data Systems (PMADS) Software Database products to be hosted and operated on Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Army (DA) Enterprise Networks.

    • Possess proven skills in planning, preparing, developing and coordinating operational and production plans, while executing and evaluating program/mission performance.
    • Briefs Government officials on constraints and limitations and identifies courses of action and solutions that will enable system operations.
    • Performs database analysis and provide documented solutions, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for business processes, user training for database, or a white paper for a solution in order to improve PD C-RAM Program Management and Sustainment Support Business Processes.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • May lead and direct the work of others.

    Qualifications

    • Formal technical training, and at least 8 years of maintenance experience in DoD operations, concepts, and procedures with an understanding of maintenance techniques. 
    • Preferred qualification is Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience
    • Candidate must have US military service (any branch) or equivalent contracting experience.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • CONUS travel may be required
    • DoD security clearance
