    BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for Engineering Manager II positions to lead, plan, direct, and coordinate architecture and engineering research and development for C-RAM satellite and system support equipment.  These positions will be located in Huntsville, Alabama, and are contingent on contract award.

    Responsibilities

    Independently plans and accomplishes complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity; complexity of assignments typically requires considerable creativity and judgment to devise approaches to accomplish work, resolve design and operational problems, and make decisions in situations where analysis and planning methods, procedures, and techniques are not well-defined.

    • Provides analytical and technical support to government provided projects involving schedule, training, operational/tactical scenario development, and Army systems, testing and evaluation.
    • Using remote diagnostic tools, diagnoses unusual and complex malfunctions within the System of Systems (SoS) platform, and equipment located at remote sites.
    • Possesses proven skills in planning, preparing, developing and coordinating operational and production plans while executing and evaluating program/mission performance.
    • Briefs Government officials on constraints and limitations and identifies courses of action and solutions that will enable system operations.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Leads and directs the work of others.  

    Qualifications

    • Formal technical training and at least 8 years of experience in DoD operations, concepts, and procedures with an understanding of maintenance techniques. 
    • Preferred qualification is Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience 
    • Candidate must have US military service (any branch) or equivalent contracting experience.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • CONUS travel required for meetings and planning conferences.
    • May be required to deploy
    • DoD security clearance
