  • Overview

    BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking an Army Program Analyst to provide outstanding support to our government customer at the Pentagon. 

    The ideal candidate will be ambitious, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and deadline-driven with strong writing and editing skills, a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.



    • Serves as the single entry point for all correspondence submtitted for the Office of the Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management's (DASM;s) review and approval
    • Review, edit and format outgoing correspondence to Congressional inquiries and senior Department of Defense leadership to include memoranda, formal letters, information papers and executive summaries
    • Consolidate, edit and format entries covering important Army issues submitted by different Directorates under the DASM for submission and distribution of the weekly Executive Summary roll-up
    • Uses the Task Management Tracker (TMT) program to monitor actions throughout the Army and serves informally as desk and phone side TMT support
    • Provides daily status updates and tracks actions for senior leadership
    • Develops, evaluates and advises on internal operations involving administrative processes, procedures and methods
    • Supports the office during Town Hall meetings, promotion ceremonies and other events



    • B.A. in Communications, English or Journalism

    • Active DoD security clearance 
    • Minimum of three years of editorial experience.
    • Thorough knowledge of Associated Press Stylebook and proofreading marks.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills — both written and verbal.
    • Fantastic customer service skills; will have daily interaction with clients.
    • Photo and Web researching skills.
    • Superior MS Word capabilities and ability to layout publications in InDesign.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint sites.


    Experience in writing/editing for the military is a plus.
