    BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking a Safety Release / Integration Verification SME to support the US Army and SoSE&I with Safety Release testing and Configuration Management. This is an onsite position at Fort Bliss, Texas; White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico; and the local travel area. Travel to other performance locations CONUS and OCONUS may be required.

    Responsibilities

    • The Technician will perform Physical Configuration Audits and Technical Inspections for systems integrated within SoSE&I test platforms.
    • In this position, one may ensure technical compliance and safety of prototype and fleet build platforms.
    • The Technician will assure vehicle integration complies with engineering documents, network architectures, and control document requirements.
    • The Technician will verify equipment repairs and/or equipment replacements done in the field, maintain established configurations, and close out trouble tickets once repairs are completed.
    • The Technician will verify systems are configured within designated engineering parameters.
    • In this position, one may be responsible for determining test configuration requirements of experimental components.
    • The Technician will be responsible for conducting testing on new vehicle configurations prior to DoD Safety Release Testing.
    • The Technician may be asked to provide guidance to DoD vendors, engineers, and FSRs to ensure test equipment adheres to Army Safety standards and specifications. 

    Qualifications

    • This job requires technical training [military and/or vocational technical] and a minimum of four plus years’ work related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Some skills required for this job are verbal and written communication during integration of SOS on Army Tactical Platforms, verifying network integrity for the integrated system and providing technical support to soldiers while they execute NIE and JWA events.
    • Experience with SoS engineering, network integration, test, quality control, safety, and training preferred.
    • This job requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job related experience.
    • Current DoD security clearance is required.
