BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist for an onsite position at Fort Bliss, Texas; White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico; and the local travel area.  Travel to other performance locations (Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; the National Capitol Region; and Warren, Michigan as well as OCONUS) may be required. 


The selected candidate will be detail oriented, motivated, and experienced and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.



  • With the assistance of the Corporate HR Department, serve as an onsite administrative expert in independently processing complicated personnel actions, including but not limited to  new hire on-boarding, employee out-processing, and team training.
  • With the assistance of the Corporate HR Department, perform HR/personnel tasks such as conducting new hire orientation, responding to questions about policies and procedures, aligning internal out-processing procedures with Government guidelines, and providing reports on employee turnover or time and attendance.
  • Evaluate and consolidate information from various sources under short deadlines, such as internal and external surveys, functional area reports and travel websites.
  • Retrieve necessary information and monitor employee progress from sources such as employee metrics, status reports, flow charts, technical documentation, and schedules.
  • Attend and facilitate Top-Level Meetings, take meeting minutes, and distribute minutes to appropriate personnel/SharePoint sites.
  • Manage team travel process and reimbursement procedures.
  • Create and deliver briefs to personnel at both higher and lower levels.
  • Work closely with lower and higher level personnel, both civilian and military, providing reports, assistance, and guidance as needed.
  • This position requires extensive knowledge of various office software packages. The Administrative Support Specialist may be asked to create original spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage SharePoint sites and libraries.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar are critical.
  • Completed written work will receive close technical review from higher-level employees.
  • Flexibility will be essential in an ever-changing role and environment.
  • The Specialist should be knowledgeable in Government and Military ranks/roles, and demonstrate the respect afforded to those positions.


  • Current DoD security clearance
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Human Resources background is preferred
  • Experience in working with high ranking Government/Military officials and personnel is preferred
  • Experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role preferred
