Overview

Electronic Systems Repair Technician (OCONUS)

FSR Support for Mobile-AUDS and AUDS 360 systems with positions available CONUS and OCONUS 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site FSR, C4ISR maintenance and logistics support.
  • Consults with Site Manager and user community to identify current system status and to clarify program objectives.
  • Maintains electronic warfare RADAR, EO, RF subsystems, and computer peripherals.
  • Diagnoses unusual and complex malfunctions within the System of Systems (SoS) platform, and equipment located at remote sites.
  • Analyzes network and interoperability of integrated systems.
  • Operates automatic and special test equipment to perform fault isolation and takes corrective action to assure equipment fidelity.
  • Responsible for everything from installation to repairs of the system and equipment components—including RADAR and video display systems.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. May lead and direct the work of others.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related technical area and at least 5 years of maintenance experience in DoD supply concepts and procedures with an understanding of maintenance production and production control. May substitute 4 years of experience and a technical school [commercial or military] for the Bachelor’ degree.
  • Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. Mastery of U.S. military maintenance support systems and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must be able to meet deployment status requirements.
  • Candidate must have some form of US military service (any branch) or equivalent experience.
