Overview

BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Technician for an onsite position at Fort Bliss, Texas, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, and the local travel area.  Travel to other performance locations (Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, the National Capitol Region, and Warren, Michigan), and OCONUS is required. 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
  • Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
  • May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
  • Comply with the Capability Package Division (CPD) Logistics SOP (Attachment 0015) for property accountability, equipment inventory, maintenance, repair, and replacement.

  • Perform platform inspections based on inspection schedules and lists provided by the Government Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Lead.

  • Annotate all discrepancies identified during inspections, and shall notify the Government ILS lead IAW CPD Logistics SOP.

  • Perform warehouse functions to include: signing for equipment, to include GFE, managing equipment; disposition of equipment (i.e. return to unit/return to vendor/store in warehouse); packaging of equipment; and conduct a 100% inventory of warehouse materials, tools, components, and special equipment IAW CPD Logistics SOP. Provide a Status Report IAW CDRL (A010).

  • Perform key control for all vehicles signed for by the contractor in accordance with paragraph 2.11.14 above.

  • Transport and store classified material, if accessed or generated by the contractor, in accordance with Army Regulation 380-5, Para 6-8.

  • Assemble required equipment and components for platform builds in accordance with the applicable platform Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure compliance with the Government provided IMS (Attachment 35).

  • Provide field support to deliver NIE systems spares during VALEX and NIE field event phases IAW CPD Logistics SOP.

  • Transport and store classified material, if accessed or generated by the contractor, in accordance with Army Regulation 380-5, Para 6-8.

  • Assemble required equipment and components for platform builds in accordance with the applicable platform Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure compliance with the Government provided IMS (Attachment 35).

  • Provide field support to deliver NIE systems spares during VALEX and NIE field event phases IAW CPD Logistics SOP.

  • Maintain accountability of all government and contractor equipment that CPD is accountable for IAW the CPD Logistics SOP and shall provide a Weekly Logistic Status Report (Attachment 0022) IAW Status Report CDRL (A010).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience
  • Current DoD security clearance
