Overview

BRTRC, a government contractor specializing in the Department of Defense, is seeking a qualified Information Management Specialist/Program Support for a DoD client. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity located at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. This position requires an individual who can adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

  • Government Travel Card Agency Program Coordinator
    • Transfers incoming personnel to AMIC Hierarchy
    • Applies for GTC for newly assigned personnel without card
    • Liaison for emergency/urgent issues for TDY members
    • Provides transfer letter upon departure
  • ATAAPS - Timekeeper
    • Upload Member’s Work Schedule
    • Correct T/A when member not available to make changes.
    • Review Time and Attendance for Premium Pay and Leave Requests
  • Passport/VISA
    • Oversees passport/visa process
    • Receives/processes/tracks passport & visas applications
  • DTS - Document Preparer
    • Prepare Authorizations
    • Sets-up travel
    • Assist with authorizations and vouchers troubleshooting
  • Base Level Service Delivery Model (BLSDM) Monitor
    • Pulls down personnel products monthly (i.e. Alpha, UMPR rosters. Etc.)
    • Checks to verify BLSDM/AMS updates are correct in the system
  • SharePoint Administrator
    • Maintains accuracy of personnel database
    • Maintains continuity of DRIM SharePoint sites
  • Human Resources Liaison
    • Review and initiate Personnel Actions
    • Input Position Review actions into MyPers
    • Review Hierarchy Maintenance Tool
  • Records Custodian
    • Maintains the office file plan and accountability for active and inactive records
    • Ensures eligible records are promptly and properly prepared to retire or transfer
    • Implements the records maintenance, use, and disposition policies and procedures for records maintained
    • Adjust office records maintenance practices to provide accurate and effective reference service to the users of the records
    • Consults with COR/FARM on problems that affect creating, maintaining, using, and disposing of records
    • Staging records through AFRIMs with BRM approval
  • Functional Area Records Manager
    • Monitors the record management program; serves as liaison with the base RM
    • Guides and assists assigned personnel in maintaining and disposing of records
    • Assists in preparing files maintenance and disposition plans
    • Ensures each office of record receives a SAV once every 24 months
    • Follows up with COR on corrective actions for discrepancies noted
    • Schedules training for all personnel who create, maintain and dispose of records
    • Ensure office of record promptly retire eligible records/maintain accountability of records
    • Assist the RM in providing guidance on using document imaging/electronic storage of records
    • Evaluates the effect of document imaging/electronic storage on creating, transferring, storing, retrieving, and disposing of record
    • Monitors/tracks/updates AFRIMs on monthly basis
  • Director’s Call
    • Assist with preparation of agenda and script
    • Assist with setting up/organizing and briefs Director
    • Ensures awards, decoration, and other items for presentation are available
    • Brief members being award are in the proper order for presentation
  • Alternate Unit Deployment Manager
    • Checks TPFDD Daily for tasking
    • Assigns all military personnel to X-Band upon assignment
    • Coordinates with base agencies for processing of deploying personnel
    • Maintains mobility folders
    • Tracks Ancillary training
    • Processes tasking through chain of command
    • Processes reclamas
  • In/Out-processing Military/Civilian Members
    • Oversees/conducts In/Out processing
  • EPRs/OPRs/DECs
    • Assist in the monitoring of the EMS sites
    • Monitors that all supporting documentations are being provided from member
    • QCs EPRs/OPRs, ensures rips match report

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an associate degree in Business Administration or an associated field.
    A minimum of 5-years of experience database management, SharePoint administration, electronic records management and passport/visa processes.
  • Active or recent Secret clearance
