  • Overview

    BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Assistant.  This full-time position is located in Vienna, VA. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of general accounting transactions.
    • Enter expenses in accordance with funding source and expense categories; and process reallocations as needed
    • Review, approve, and process payment requests
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly project financial reports
    • Research and respond to financial reporting inquires

    Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
    • 1-3 years of experience  in financial reporting using Deltek Costpoint, preferably in the government contracting industry
    • Knowledge in generally-accepted accounting, budgeting, and fiscal control principles
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Positive attitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment as a highly productive individual contributor
    • Demonstrated Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
    • U.S. citizen
