The Materiel Coordinator works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the MRAP program. Performs logistics support; transportation and supply, and is responsible for tasks to support logistics operations.
The Materiel Coordinator is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional logistics duties under the oversight of more senior positions. Analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of the program. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
Supports the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Investigates or resolves operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks. Applies continuous improvement methods to enhance logistics quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
The Materiel Coordinator will have up to 3 years of experience in logistics, and a BA/BS degree [or up to 6 more years of experience if not the candidate does not have a degree].
Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance required.
