A Senior Logistics works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of the MRAP program and performs all functional duties independently. Oversees the efforts of others performing logistics support; transportation and supply, and is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned in logistics operations.
Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Investigate or resolve operational problems, such as material use variances or bottlenecks.
Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve processes or products or to reduce costs, using knowledge of logistics processes, quality control standards, and materials and parts. Applies continuous improvement methods to enhance logistics quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
A Senior Logistics Analyst will have 10+ years of experience in logistics, and a MA/MS degree [or 12 plus more years of experience if not the candidate does not have a degree].
Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD security clearance required.
