Overview

BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking a Mosquito Repellant and Toxicant SME to support a government client in Washington, DC.  These positions are contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Office(s) as a subject matter expert in relevant field of experience(s) for vaccine, therapeutic, and/or antimicrobial advanced development; clinical and/or regulatory policy; and/or manufacturing capacity construction
  • Provide guidance documents and option papers on key issues related to the area(s) identified;
  • Review contract proposal and related documents;
  • Provide senior-level briefing(s)
  • Prepare regular reports to management on various technical issues identified.
  • Provide project development level portfolio management and oversight;
  • Develop, implement, and consciously improve Total Life Cycle Cost (TLCC) efforts;
  • Advise the Office of the Director on porfolio management decisions
  • Provide subject matter expertise in product development for a Mosquito Repellant and Toxicant Expert
  • Evaluate potential Mosquito Repellant and Toxicant for technical feasibility and entrance into the portfolio
  • Identify or evaluate projected approaches for product formulation and business development of final product
  • Evaluate and develop project plans and schedules for the successful product development of an EPA registered toxicant and repellent products

Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of experience in registration of products with EPA, especially related to prodcuts regulated under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act
  • Experience in study design, execution and analysis for toxicology, efficacy, and mode of action studies for toxicants and/or repellents
  • Demonstrated leadership in science program or product management in industry or government programs for toxicant and/or repellent product development
  • Industry experience preferred (or extensive Industry contract)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing scall up and product characterization/analysis including program strategy and planning experience
