Overview

BRTRC Federal Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Program Support position.  This full-time position is located in Tysons Corner, Virginia. 

Responsibilities

  • Performs program support work for multiple programs to include collection, compilation, research analysis and tracking data, and program information
  • Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the Program Manager and staff
  • Perform various clerical and administrative duties to include filing, calendar management, supply inventory and office operations
  • Receive specific instructions on new assignments and ensure completed work is checked for accuracy
  • Screen telephone calls and incoming correspondence; respond to requests for program information; determine which requests should be handled by the Program Manager or appropriate staff
  • May attend meetings and record and report on the proceedings
  • Review materials prepared for Program Manager’s approval for typographical accuracy and proper format
  • Review outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with procedures; assure that proper approvals have been obtained, when needed
  • Type, take, create and maintain office filesProvide conference and event supportProvide system testing, requirements-gathering, and documentation support

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's plus 3 years of experience is required or no degree and a minumum of 5 years of experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
  • Experience operating in complex professional environments with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations
  • Extremely detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment in support of client requirements
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication and presentation skills
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential and classified information
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Anticipated travel requirement: 5-25%

Preferred:

  • Familiarity and experience with government programs
  • Current or recent (within 12 mos) Secret Clearance
