Overview

BRTRC, a government contractor specializing in the Department of Defense, is seeking a qualified Program Analyst (Science & Engineering Research) in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory Science and Technology Fellowship Program (STFP). This full-time position will be located in the Northern Virginia area and is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Perform supporting activities for the programmatic review of scientific research applications
  • Facilitate the process of soliciting, evaluating, and selecting AF Research Advisors and research topics
  • Coordination of quarterly scientific and engineering review panel sessions
  • Track and report monthly disbursements for research associates stipends, benefits, travels, and other allowances
  • Maintain database of USAF focal points, research associates, and research advisors
  • Assist with the onsite placement of research associates
  • Establish and maintain relationships with USAF Focal Points
  • Serve as main point of contact for online application process
  • Support outreach efforts to attract a diversified candidate pool of highly qualified Ph.D.s in scientific and engineering disciplines
  • May perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least three years of experience supporting government programs
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities
  • Experience in Science and Technology activities is a plus
  • Experience supporting the Air Force and AFOSR specifically is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; current clearance preferred
