Overview

BRTRC Federal Solutions, an established government contractor, is seeking a Site Manager for a full time opportunity located in Afghanistan (AFG.)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises activities associated with the development of maintenance plans under the program contract to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations, including cost and quality.
  • Consults with PM, prime, and user community to identify current system status and to clarify program objectives. Maintains electronic warfare RADAR, EO, RF subsystems, and computer peripherals.
  • Diagnoses unusual and complex malfunctions within the System of Systems (SoS) platform, and equipment located at remote sites.
  • Operates automatic and special test equipment to perform fault isolation and takes corrective action to assure equipment fidelity. 
  • Responsible for everything from installation to repairs of the system and equipment components—including RADAR and video display systems.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.

Qualifications

 

  •      Current DoD security clearance and valid U.S. Passport.
  •      The ability to successfully complete all pre-     deployment requirements, as necessary.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related technical area and at least 8 years of experience maintenance experience in DoD supply concepts, procedures with an understanding of maintenance production and production control. May substitute 4 years of experience and a technical school [commercial or military] for the Bachelor’ degree.
  • Mastery of U.S. military maintenance support systems and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense contracting policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of selected computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be able to meet deployment status requirements.
  • Candidate must have some form of US military service (any branch) or equivalent experience.
