Overview

BRTRC Federal Solutions, an established government contractor specializing in the Department of Defense, is seeking a Strategic Program Analyst.  This is a full time position located in the DC Metro area.  The individual selected for this position must be able to manage high-level projects with a keen eye for detail and be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.  They must also possess problem-solving, decision-making and good judgment skills as well as the ability to take initiative and/or independently respond to situations. A quick-learner with a commitment to succeed is best suited for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program management briefings and other program documentation
  • Coordinate, schedule setup for conference room and other equipment as furnished by the government.
  • Provide strategic planning support (Mission, Vision, Strategic Objectives, and Metrics) for Army Acquisition programs.
  • Plan and coordinate monthly complex planning sessions in support of the organization. Compose and prepare meeting minutes, publish comments, discussions and due-outs.
  • Automate, update and maintain a daily task tracking system.
  • Develop messaging, signage, printed materials and electronic media.
  • Perform planning and scheduling/calendar support. Coordinate activities and key events for senior leadership.
  • Assist in the development of strategic management dashboards, produce monthly reports, brief strategic goals monthly and track progress daily.
  • Assist in development of executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Current DOD security clearance required
  • Six years of relevant expertise providing development and execution support for an organization’s key programs, preferably an Army acquisition organization
  • Experience in coordinating strategic initiatives, including tracking, administering and measuring tasks at the organization level, and in providing management support services in the areas of program coordination, and planning, acquiring, deploying, and managing Army Acquisition programs
  • Attention to detail and ability to effectively and efficiently perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities often within a required timeframe
  • Ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing requirements and competing demands
  • Professional and mature demeanor and conduct, especially during interactions with the client and its constituents
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and experience
  • Polished, professional appearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional telephone manner
